Our team of experts
Caroline Cormier
Caroline holds a master's degree in psychoeducation and has experience as a school psychoeducator. Her deep understanding of education needs, coupled with a passion of digital innovation, drives her mission to modernize education methods.
In her free time, Caroline enjoys gardening, walking in the forest with her dog Horace, and picking herbs and flowers to make her own teas.
Roxanne Bélanger
With more than 18 years of experience in education and management, Roxanne serves as the operations manager at Optania. As a former special education teacher, she brings a unique blend of skills in education and business management. Her background provides a distinctive and valuable perspective in her current role.
When not she's not working, Roxanne enjoys acrylic painting and learning about psychology through reading. She also loves doing anything outdoors with her family, whether that's spending time on the water or hiking.
Sophie Tremblay
As a bilingual content specialist and web content coordinator at Optania, Sophie brings precision and excellence to the team’s work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and French, combining her love of language with a talent for creating high-quality content. Her passion for collaborative projects and continuous learning keeps her inspired and motivated.
Outside of work, Sophie enjoys walking her dog Jasper, doing yoga, and rock climbing. She also loves trying new recipes and getting lost in a good book with a cup of coffee in hand.
Alyson Mailloux-Asselin
Alyson holds a bachelor's degree in media studies and intercultural communication and is passionate about all aspects of communication. Her sensitivity, versatile skills, and creativity enable her to craft clear, inclusive, and impactful messages.
In her free time, Alyson recharges by spending time outdoors and camping whenever she can. On rainy days, she enjoys relaxing with her cat, doing puzzles, or working on artistic projects.
Alexandra Verreault
Alexandra has worked as a clinical psychologist since 2018, providing psychotherapy to adult clients. She specializes in relational issues and life transitions.
In addition to her clinical practice, Alexandra is a product owner and clinical content specialist at Optania. She uses her expertise to create tools for an application designed to support college students. Her creative solutions and dedication to student well-being establish her as a key figure in this field.
Alexandra expresses her creativity through crafting and her love for fashion and tea. She also enjoys escaping into role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and hiking with her little dog, Sherwood.
Annie Ferland
Annie is a clinical psychologist who focuses on anxiety and mood disorders, the impact of trauma on overall well-being, and attachment issues. At Optania, she coordinates clinical consultation and specialized training, bringing in-depth knowledge and rigour to the team's content.
In her free time, Annie enjoys writing stories and poems and immersing herself in reading to expand her knowledge and inspire reflection.
